Dad, I can't believe you have gone out of my life, you were such a huge presence in it, that your passing has left the biggest of gaps. In the midst of the sadness and loss, I am grateful that you are now free of suffering and pain, you fought a hugely courageous battle with cancer, and although it was a battle we knew you couldn't have won, you kept going for so long, it truly was a miracle in itself, and it seemed like you would be here forever. I am so proud of you, I will miss and love you forever. Enjoy your beautiful garden in heaven, I am glad you found your way home to God.
